London Gifted and Talented
London Gifted & Talented develops high quality programmes which challenge learners and support teachers.

 
MENSA Foundation for Gifted Children (British)
British Mensa is the founder member of an internationally renowned high IQ society which has a worldwide membership. The requirement for membership is that an individual’s IQ falls within the top 2% of the population.

National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE)
NACE is an association promoting and supporting the education of able, gifted and talented children and young people. Details of conferences, courses and consultancy. Details of publications and journals. Join online.

National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
This site includes 200 abstracts and summaries of important articles on Gifted & Talented pupils from the past few years. NAGC provides support for parents of gifted children

The National Programme for Gifted and Talented Education
The University of Warwick no longer hosts the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY). The Department for Children, Schools and Families now uses the CfBT.
Oxford Brookes - Gifted and Talented Education
Westminster Institute of Education at Oxford Brookes University provides the 4.5 day training programme for coordinators of Gifted and Talented provision.

QCA
Guidance for schools on provision in the context of an inclusive curriculum. Produced by DfES, QCA, National Curriculum, there is support for each subject area.

World Class Arena

An online maths club set up by Cambridge University. Discussion sections for use by teachers and students.

The Mathematical Association
An excellent resource for teachers including details of conferences and other professional development opportunities, periodicals and publications.

Math Forum
A good place to find math’s puzzles and challenges. Includes an extensive library, lesson ideas and a discussion group.

Free online magazine produced by the Millennium Maths Project at the University of Cambridge, covering mathematics (in the broadest sense) and its implications to the sciences, arts and commerce.

United Kingdom Mathematics Trust
Organisers of maths challenges which range from challenges for all, to the selection and training of the International Mathematical Olympiad team (IMO). Try some questions and order past papers.  (Secondary interest)
